What you’ll do:

  • Drive both outbound and inbound sales activity through multiple digital channels including relevant social media as well as having outstanding communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients.
  • Work as part of a virtual team with our global sales teams in market to drive the best outcomes for BA and our partners, and ensure the optimum dealing solution is in place.
  • Apply your in-depth understanding of customer needs, our products and how we distribute them, to match relevant products and services to the customer and/or trade partners and drive revenue.
  • Continue your professional development to maintain and enhance your knowledge of our products and act as an influencer and trusted advisor for your clients.
  • Expand the Decision Making Unit (DMU) and touch-points within your portfolio and ensure that BA and partners are the preferred supplier.
  • Evaluate deal performance, and drive engagement and effort from your portfolio contacts to exceed targets and maximize revenue, including the implementation of tactical activity.
  • Provide proposals and agree deals over the phone and through email. Utilize phone, email, social media and web tools to communicate and present company offerings.
  • Sourcing upsell opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound calls and emails, in order to meet and/or exceed expectations.
  • Input accurate and complete information in customer relationship management (CRM) system. Delivering enhanced data quality and customer insight, and feeding back market intelligence.
  • Manage your relationship with colleagues across Commercial and the broader BA organisation.
  • Define account development plans for your portfolio and execute these plans to optimise the revenue position of BA and partner airlines.
  • Strengthen relationships by acting as a touchpoint for escalation of issues or waiver/favour initiation, whilst supporting customer/ agent to find solutions.

Your experience:

  • Degree or equivalent experience
  • Valid passport with unrestricted right to travel
  • Language relevant to the market served
  • Minimum of 2 years account management or equivalent commercial experience (desirable)
  • Ability to evaluate data and metrics effectively to ensure focus on commercial opportunities (essential)
  • Demonstration of utilising digital selling and other innovative ways of working to achieve revenue targets
  • Experience of building productive working relationships in a multi-cultural context
  • Knowledge of Sales best practice, ways of working & systems desirable)
